Delicious Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel.

Crust Ingredients:

1 package of cinnamon graham crackers

1/4 cup sugar

6 tablespoons of butter (melted)

Apple Mixture: (preheat oven 425)

4-5 apples

2 tablespoons flour

2/3 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons butter

Streusel: (oven 375)

3/4 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup rolled oats (or quick oats)

1/2 cup butter

Step 1:

Take one bag of cinnamon graham crackers and

smash them up until they are just crumbs.

Place in medium bowl.

Add 1/4 cup of sugar,

And 6 tablespoons of melted butter.

Mix well.

Step 2:

Pour into pie pan, and

Press into pie pan shape.

Step 3:

Cut Apples (with knife or apple cutter)...

And peel skin off apples and place in Medium bowl.

Step 4:

In small bowl. Add 2 tablespoons flour,

And 2/3 cup white sugar,

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon,

mix well,

pour over apples,

And toss until apples are evenly coated.

Step 5:

Pour apple mixture into pie crust,

Dollop 2 tablespoon of butter,

Cover with foil (somewhat loose),

And place in oven for 10 mins.

Step 6:

(while apple mixture is in oven)

In a medium bowl place 3/4 cup flour,

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon,

1/2 cup of brown sugar,

3/4 cup rolled oats (I use quick oats),

And mix well.

Step 7:

Place a 1/2 cup of butter in contents,

mix well with hands,

and pour over apples evenly (use hands to distribute)

Step 8:

Place in oven for 30-35 mins.

When remove from oven, cover with foil to prevent

further browning.

a shirt dress, but when I went to try it on, it wouldn't go over

my shoulders... oh well, attempt number one didn't happen

I've liked these skirts for a while now

and I can never find one in the store

(especially in my size)

So I decided to just go fine some fabric

that I like and make my own!

All in all this cost me about $4

Fist you find a recipe you want to try

I decided to try a new Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Recipe

Then you follow the recipe,

preheat the oven

you get all your ingredients together.

Start measuring the powders into one bowl

Mix them together

soften the butter

add all the wet ingredients together

Mix them together

Add the dry to the wet and blend

For this I need to mix the topping

Layer them in your cooking pan

and bake for the recipe time stated

And I was an idiot and forgot to spray the pan first

so I stuck to the sides like CRAZY!

Ok.... I made two in between the time I

post my last blog and now... so here is the

steps I took haha...

First, you lay the pattern out on the fabric

Second, you cut them out

Then you pin the ones that go together...

You sew them together...

Iron out all the seams...

Sew some more... sorry I skipped a few

got tired of having to stop and take pictures

I just wanted to get them done...

And here are the final results!

(another two, but I will be on my honeymoon)

if I knew I had a heart murmur.

Saturday I am going in for an Echo

and see how that goes...

he said it is a common thing in young

people and that it's usually benin and

nothing ever comes from it, but it's still

something you can't ignore completely.

So, How about that, my sister isn't

the only one with medical problems any

more haha... and I know she is kinda

happy about that.

we were getting ready for bed... and we started talking about

unconventional engagements and like he was asking if I wanted to

be on top of some big mountain or something like that I said no,

I just needed the two of us you know... and we were talking

for a while and then he said, well, will you marry me, and since

I was just thinking we were just talking about it like we always

do I said Of course I will.. and he said no, I mean will you marry

me, and so I got kinda confused and said WHAT? and he said he

got me a christmas present and I was like WHAT? and he told

me to close my eyes, so I covered my eyes and he got up and came

back and told me to open them, and there was the ring, in all

it's glory... and I was shocked and said yes of course.... and so

yeah... that's how it all happened... hahah....

Another Day in Paradise...

After a long morning of snorkeling...

we took a short drive north to Hanalei

Bay to see the off shore swell take

affect on the waves there...

We went over a cute one way bridge...

the waves were going off out

too the right....

The beautiful coast off the top from

Princeville hotel.... well what's left of

the Princeville hotel...

Then we had to walk down these steep,

steep steps... that were kinda muddy

and I definitely wasn't wearing the right

shoes for it...

This was the view looking back up...

But once we got down to almost the

bottom it was beautiful... we wished we

would have snorkeled there instead...

This is my favorite Iced Tea to get in

Hawaii... it kinda tastes like brisk...

but better !

Kayak Trip...

We went on a kayak trip today

to see a waterfall... it was pretty

awesome! Adrian and I had a

great time trying to figure out how

to paddle together, but we quickly got

the hang of it and it was very fun!

News From Kauai... Bad news....

Bad news... our van got broken into...

sucky huh... but it's ok... we walked through

a grassy path... overgrown... to get to a falls

the "Blow Hole" as I call it... but really it's

called the Spouting Horn...

trees that cover the road... it was pretty cool...

so today was our first day at the beach and it

ok, so yesterday, Adrian didn't have to work...

So we went to Disneyland ! It was fun... we only

went to disneyland, not DCA, because....

WE TOOK THE MONORAIL...

I had never been on it before (neither had he)

so we took it from downtown disney

into the park right next to the nemo ride...

it was fun... First, we went got fast passes to

Autopia (later to find out the line was so short

we didn't even need them) so while we were

waiting for our fast passes to be active we went

on Matterhorn...

From there we went to Autopia...

Next to Space Mountain...

Then to Indiana Jones...

From there we went on Thunder Railroad...

Then we walked around by the castle...

So I just recently sent my sewing machine in to get it fixed,

because after like 4 stitches it would skip the next 9 or so

and then stitch 2 then go back to not stitching...

so yeah... and now the bobbin is making retarded stitches

with extra extra string... so I took my machine apart a little

to look at it... but I can't figure it out... I'm gonna wait

until my mom gets home....

oh and yesterday...

My first blog... wow...

Today, even though I have no school, I have quite

a bit of school work to do. For one, I have to think

of two concepts for images for my commercial

photography class; which sucks, because I am

terrible at thinking up concepts, especially a detailed

one like the one that I have to write. But hey, all is

good, I got the whole day to do it... I will scan the picture

on in when it's completed...

neighborhood to find our dumb dog who

decided that she wanted to go and look around

the streets.... what a brat...
